About Me

My name is Ashleigh Rutherford and I am proud to be the school counselor at Old Settlers Elementary in Lewisville ISD. This is my 6th year in education but my first year as a school counselor. I have taught the grades of 2nd grade, Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten. I am so excited to be able to serve students in LISD in all capacities.

I went to the University of Texas at Arlington where I earned by Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I continued my passion to help students to earn by Master's degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

I love to travel, go to sporting events, go to museums, and visit with family and friends.

I also love to support our students. So please invite me when he/she has a game, show, or performance or anything in between.
